Therapy & Learning Centre Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy services for babies, children and adolescents. No referral is necessary.

Therapy & Learning Centre aims to promote development of age appropriate gross and fine motor skills from babies to 18 years of age. We can help:

- Children/adolescents with poor pencil grip

- Children/adolescents with handwriting problems, or difficulty with writing speed or copying skills

- Children/adolescents with poor coordination

- Preschoolers with laterality problems or undecided hand preference

- Babies and infants who are not enjoying tummy time, not rolling/crawling or reaching other milestones

- Late walkers, toe walkers, or children who seem to walk pigeon toed or have flat feet

- Babies are favouring turning their head to one side or have flattening on one side of the head.

Try out this fun Cup & Ball Game demonstrated by our OT Savannah! 🤩

What you’ll need:
• 2 cups in different colours
• 2 balls to match the colours of the cups

How to play:
⭐️ Give each cup a matching-coloured ball.
⭐️ Have your child hold one cup in each hand, and roll the balls across the table towards your child.
⭐️ Encourage them to catch each ball using the correct matching cup.
⭐️ Mix it up by changing the direction of the balls, encouraging your child to reach across their body!

🧠 This game is great for crossing the midline, bilateral coordination and attention & focus. Plus it’s heaps of fun!

Today we joined thousands of Australians wearing denim to help raise awareness for children living with genetic diseases.

1 in 20 kids face a birth defect or genetic disease.

Jeans for Genes Day is run by the Children's Medical Research Institute, which conducts medical and biological research to help develop treatments and work towards cures for children who need them most.
