We’re wishing Kim and Robyn a wonderful holiday and safe travels!

Kim is hitting the road in her caravan for a three-month adventure around Australia, while Robyn is getting ready for her own well-deserved break.

Before heading off, Robyn wbrought some extra festive cheer to her clients as Mrs. Claus for the special Irish Christmas celebration!

We hope they both enjoy their time away, make plenty of wonderful memories, and return refreshed and ready for more adventures!

We may be from a small town, but we are mighty!

The Horsham Dovida team is celebrating after receiving the Excellence in Quality Award at the Heart of Dovida Awards.

Our Victorian family recently came together at RACV City Club to celebrate the people who make Dovida what it is. There were heartfelt speeches, some serious Brain of Dovida rivalry, and plenty of time on the dancefloor.

Congratulations to the entire Horsham team, and to Kerrie Ward for accepting the award on the night. A well-deserved recognition of the care, commitment, and quality you bring every day.

Safe, high quality clinical care is at the heart of Aged Care Standard 5.

At our most recent caregiver meeting, our team took part in a hands on catheter care training session designed to further build their knowledge, skills and confidence.

The session gave caregivers the opportunity to work through practical catheter care scenarios, with a focus on infection prevention, safe catheter management and recognising changes that may require clinical attention. It was a valuable chance to ask questions, refresh important knowledge and learn from one another in a supportive environment.

Ongoing education like this helps ensure our caregivers feel confident and well equipped to provide safe, person centred care, while always supporting the comfort, dignity and wellbeing of every client.
