This week we recognised our “You make a Difference nominations”. It was pleasing to see nearly 30 nominations across all Hospital departments. The Hospital Executive reviewed all nominations and choose 9 staff that meet the award criteria with the overall recognition awarded to Belinda Randall.

Belinda was recognised and described by several of her Hospital colleagues as a dedicated, supportive, caring and overall professional and valued member of the theatre team. Bel has Mentored many staff in her years as a a theatre scrub/scout nurse.

Other nominees recognised were : Aneke, Novelyn, Shamila, Lizzy, Cath, Asanka, Jess and Angela.

Congratulations to our staff and thank you to all the staff that contributed in recognising their colleagues in the exceptional care they provide to Patients , Doctors and each other each and every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Biggest Morning Tea raising much needed funds for the Cancer Council. Thank you to all that baked, helped set up and supported a wonderful cause . The event was a fantastic success, filled with great delicious treats and an amazing community spirit.

We are very grateful for the generosity and support shown by everyone involved. Together we helped make a difference whilst enjoying a sweet treat together.
