I am proud to share that I, along with some incredible women and now friends, officially certified as Masterson Method Practitioners last weekend.

I began this journey mid-2024 knowing it was the right next step, but I couldn’t have anticipated the depth of commitment it would require _ countless hours of study, late nights completing case studies, and many rabbit holes of learning along the way.
There were moments of uncertainty when life presented challenges and I questioned whether I would make it through. During those times, the support and belief from my mentor Emma Young MMCP- Masterson Method AU made all the difference.

Congratulations to everyone who completed this journey alongside me, and a heartfelt thank you to the Masterson community for the support, connection, fun times, and a sense of belonging.
I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a special community.

It was a pleasure being at the Far away Easter marathon to support Karen Lee and her incredible horse Blue and Elisha Scarlet Cantwell through the event. What an incredible family team, overdoing better each day to accomplish 420km over the weekend 🏆 Congratulations to all participants who put their heart and soul into this discipline.

The Far Away Easter Endurance Carnival in Imbil is almost here, and I am so grateful to be joining this incredible community for the first time.

There is a unique magic that happens during endurance—a profound, wordless dialogue between horse and rider that transcends the trail. At Equi Align, my mission is to honor that connection.

I am thrilled to offer my services at the event, focusing on the Masterson Method. This practice is more than just bodywork; it is a collaborative listening session. Preparing Raffi for his 80km ride 🐎

This session highlighted some reactions through the poll, jaw, neck and hind end. As the session progressed, he softened beautifully and the hind end reactions reduced significantly compared to our previous session.
One of the things I love the most about this work is seeing how connected the horse’s body really is_ oftentimes what shows up in the hind end can start much further forward.
Raffi finished much softer, freer and moving more comfortably, and I’m looking forward to see how he will perform on race day 🐎

While away, I had the privilege of working with Pucco, a stunning Lusitanian gelding. 🇫🇷✨

Pucco is a true athlete, performing Portuguese Dressage, liberty work, and recently adding jumping to his repertoire. 🎭🐎 Because he is so responsive to body movement in his liberty work, our sessions together became a fascinating “conversation.”
He was initially a bit impatient and guarded—highly typical for a sensitive “alpha” leader who doesn’t like to show weakness. By staying “under the radar” of his bracing reflex and using an incrediblyj light touch, we were able to find and release deep-seated tension in his poll, thoracic sling (shoulders), and psoas muscles.
It was a beautiful lesson in patience and listening. When we truly slow down and wait for the horse to answer, the physical and mental shift is so much more profound. It proves that even the most technical “show” horses benefit from hitting the “reset” button on their nervous system through softness. 🌿
I’m so grateful to Pucco and his owner for letting me be part of his journey.

This post makes me feel so much better. Being at the beginning of my journey, the feeling of unknowing is almost always hovering around. Knowing that body workers with much more experience still have that lingering feeling gives me reinsurance. We are all in it together to make it better for the horses 🐴 onwards and upwards we go.

A Blossom of Knowledge: My Equine Journey Unfolds!
Some lessons are whispered, some gently taught, but the truest learning blossoms when we are deeply involved. Benjamin Franklin’s wisdom has been my guiding star. He once said: “tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” through hours spent at my desk, days devoted to practice, and moments of doubt when the tides of emotion felt overwhelming.

Today, my heart sings with pride as I announce that I’ve earned my Certificate in Equine Anatomy and Health Considerations! This isn’t just a certification; it’s a testament to dedication, a nurturing of passion, and a beautiful new chapter for my practice. May this deepen my touch and understanding for the magnificent horses in my care.
