New in 2025: we will be welcoming a childhood Educational and Developmental (Ed & Devs) psychologist in January 2025.

Ed & Devs have completed additional studies, training, and supervised training in improving learning, development, and wellbeing. Educational and Developmental Psychologists develop advanced competencies in recognizing, evaluating, diagnosing, and addressing learning and developmental disorders that arise during critical developmental periods. We are pleased to welcome Dr. Brendon Ward to our growing team at Sheridan Psychologists. Dr. Ward is a clinical psychologist who holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Queensland. He is committed to providing tailored therapeutic approaches that empower clients to achieve lasting mental health improvements. With a foundation in evidence-based practices, Dr. Ward supports clients of all ages in achieving enduring mental health improvements. His areas of interest include trauma treatment and supporting individuals with eating difficulties and disorders, with accreditation from the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED) and the National Eating Disorder Collaboration (NEDC). Dr. Ward also accepts NDIS, WorkCover, and DVA clients.
