How do we manage the painful memories of the past?
Memories always stay with us, whether happy or hurtful. What’s important is that we don't let any memory trap us in the past.
Sometimes we get deeply hurt by someone's words, actions, or behavior. At those moments, we become very emotional, but over time, as we encounter new experiences and create new memories, some old memories fade away. However, if we keep dwelling on our hurts, they stay fresh in our minds, and we continue to feel pain.
No matter how deeply you've been hurt, find ways to heal. Talk to supportive people, forgive others, and pray or meditate to help calm your mind. And whenever those memories come up, let them pass by, and just move on with your life.
