Kennedy Drilling is currently looking for an administration Assistant/Manager. This position is Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm.

The duties of the Administration Assistant role will include but are not limited to:
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Compiling and maintaining records and information within established procedures and assist in the preparation of regular reports, including BAS
• Process weekly time sheets and payroll
• Lodge Payroll tax and PAYG payments
• Maintain Super files and contributions
• End of month reconciliations
• Mobilisation support and travel arrangements
• Reception duties

The successful candidate will have:
• 2 years or more experience in similar role
• Strong computer skills, MYOB and MS Office experience
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Accurate data entry skills
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Hold a current drivers license
• Ability to work autonomously
• Provide a current NPC
• Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen

We are currently looking for people wanting to be drillers offsiders, this is a great opportunity to get into the mining industry.

To be considered for this position, you must:
• Physically fit and healthy
• Have good grip strength
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
• Hold a Current Australian HR license or willing to obtain
• Hold or able to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Be able to work 10-12 hour shifts on a 3and 1 roster
• Have full working rights for Australia

As an Offsider, you will support an experienced driller. Duties will include:
• Acting on instruction from the driller
• Loading and unloading drill rods
• Performing pre-starts on all equipment
• Maintain a safe work environment
At all times
• Maintaining the drill rig

Kennedy Drilling is family owned and operated drilling company in the Goldfields. We are expanding and currently need new drillers.
We are seeking experienced drillers in both RC and Aircore to assist with the increase of work. The ideal candidates will be team players with the ability to train offsiders and future drillers. Need to have a solid understand and experience with RC and Aircore Drilling.
Be able to lead, motivate and mentor team members whilst maintaining Kennedy Drillings values of safety and performance.
You will be responsible for ensuring drilling and sampling are carried out correctly and in accordance with Kennedy Drilling Safety Standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
• An understanding of our drilling programs;
• Manage and mentor offsider and rig operation;

Essential Requirements:
• experience as RC and Aircore Driller;
• Certificate III in Drilling Operations, or prepared to obtain preferred;
• Senior First Aid or prepared to obtain;
• WA HR Drivers' Licence;
• National police clearance.
