This month is National Scoliosis Awareness Month!

Scoliosis is a condition causing sideways spinal curvature that affects millions globally. This month we aim to raise awareness, promote early detection, and support individuals with scoliosis.

With early detection, many cases can be managed through non-surgical conservative treatment such as bracing or scoliosis specific exercise rehabilitation.

This is also a reminder that individuals with scoliosis are not alone, and you are supported 🤍

Repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, pushing, pulling and long hours on your feet can place ongoing strain on the spine, increasing the risk of back pain. Over time, this doesn't just affect your body, it can also impact mental wellbeing, contributing to stress, fatigue and reduced quality of life.

Work-related musculoskeletal disorders, including back pain, can be minimised and respond well to treatment when identified early.

For many men, back pain doesn't just slow them down, it adds to the mental load of managing work, finances and family, and can take a toll on mental health.

Early intervention is key. Addressing back pain early can help prevent chronic conditions and reduce its broader impact on your health and wellbeing.

Book in with one of our Chiropractors and get back to feeling good 🙌🏼

Our vegetable of the month is SPINACH! 🥗

Spinach is a nutrient-dense leafy green that boosts heart health, improves eye health, aids digestion, and reduces oxidative stress.

Packed with vitamins K, A and C, along with folate, iron, and potassium, it supports immune function, strengthens bones, and helps regulate blood pressure.

A great way to include spinach in your diet is in an omelette. Follow this recipe for a delicious spinach and egg omelette.
Ingredients:
- 2–3 large eggs
- 1 cup baby spinach (fresh)
- 1 tsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan or crumbled feta (optional)
- salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 tbsp chopped onions or garlic for extra flavour

Method:
1. Whisk eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper until blended.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add spinach (and optional garlic/onion), cooking for 1-2 minutes until wilted.
3. Pour eggs over the spinach. Swirl the pan to distribute evenly. As the edges set, use a spatula to lift them, letting raw egg flow underneath.
4. Once the top is almost set, add cheese to one side and fold the omelette in half.
5. Serve onto a plate, cooking another 30 seconds if needed.
6. Enjoy!
