Hope Industries and Empowered Liveability Partner to provide sensory friendly cleaning products to people with disabilities living in Specialist Disability Accommodation.

The partnership not only supplies free, sensory friendly cleaning products for Empowered Liveability residents, but also supports those from marginalised communities, including people experiencing justice involvement, mental ill-health, addiction and disabilities.

New Empowered Liveability residents will soon start to see Hope Soap dispensers installed as part of the general house set up, along with 10kg of free sensory friendly soap, with established residents to also have the opportunity to have these dispensers installed.

Expect to see these turning up in kitchens and laundries, thoughtfully created by the Hope Industries team.

Hope Industries is part of the wider The Power In You Project, empowering people facing adversity, into open employment; including gardening, maintenance and cleaning equipment.

Along with sponsoring the amazing Geelong Reclink Powercats, the Empowered team continue to support Kane Power, The Power In You Project, and their community initiatives, supporting our communities to engage and empower eachother.

It’s not about losing your child- it’s about regaining the relationship.

One of the most powerful parts of SDA is watching families move from parent and carer, back to simply being family again. ❤️

What a night! 💜✨

Members of our team recently attended the third annual The Power In You Project Gala Ball, and what a wonderful evening it was!

It was great to get dressed up, spend time with familiar faces from across our community and hear some powerful stories from the PIYP team and the individuals they support.

We were proud to support the Gala as one of this year's event partners and to be part of an evening celebrating people living fulfilling lives with dignity, respect and genuine choice.

A big thank you to The Power In You Project for having us and to everyone who helped bring such a memorable night together.

We had an absolute ball! 💜

A little winter sparkle! ❄️✨

Tanya and several tenants from our homes recently enjoyed a magical evening at the Friend in Me and Liberty Disability Services Winter Wonderland Ball again this year.

It was a night filled with connection, celebration and plenty of winter sparkle, with no shortage of smiles, laughs and people excited to join Tanya for another fantastic night out! 💜

We love seeing our tenants getting out and about, enjoying new experiences, building connections and simply having a great time together.

A big thank you for another wonderful evening and for bringing so many people together. ✨

A resident with limited mobility. A collaborative team with one shared goal.

The result? A reimagined bedroom view that transformed her entire daily experience 🪟

This is what happens when property managers, landlords, families, and staff align around what actually matters: meaningful, person-centered care.

Supporting inclusive sport, both on and off the field. 🏉💜

It has been a busy couple of weeks for the Empowered Liveability team as we continue getting out into the community and supporting the people and organisations around us.

Our Finance team member, Kayne, headed along to the recent Geelong Reclink Powercats game, lending his expertise as a game official and supporting another fantastic day of inclusive sport. It was a great day for the Powercats too, who came away with an impressive 50-point win!

We’re proud to support communities that create opportunities for people to belong, participate and share in the things they love.

Here's what happens when good intentions meet easy money: quality gets compromised. The disability housing sector learned this when investors prioritised volume over genuine need. Purpose doesn't survive when profit becomes the primary driver.
