Today, our team came together to celebrate Daffodil Day with a morning tea, plenty of yellow, and bunches of beautiful daffodils.

We’re proud to support Cancer Council and their work in cancer research and support for people affected by cancer.

From 1 July 2026, Medicare is changing the consent process for bulk billed services.

Previously, consent could often be provided verbally. Under the new Medicare requirements, consent must be recorded through an approved process before Medicare benefits can be paid directly to your doctor. This change does not affect your Medicare eligibility or the care you receive.

To make this easy, patients may receive a secure consent link via HotDoc by SMS or email. Simply follow the link to provide your consent. You may be asked to confirm your surname and date of birth as part of the verification process.

Although Medicare has provided a 12-month transition period to implement these changes, our practice has chosen to get ahead by introducing the new consent process early, helping ensure a smooth experience for our patients.

As part of this new process, please ensure we have your current mobile number and email address on file so you can receive these communications.

Paper consent forms will also be available at reception from 1 July for patients who prefer not to provide consent electronically.
