This is a beautiful memory of our Opening Circle for the Light Shaman Retreat we were beginning from Villa Borghese Gardens in Rome. Among the ancient trees we met under and opened the retreat. Many of us meeting for the first time, in person as our community met regularly from around the world on-line.

THE FIFTH INSIGHT: THE MYSTICAL EXPERIENCE

The Fifth Insight reminds us that the energy we've been searching for has never truly come from other people. It comes from remembering our connection with the sacred source of all life.

As we deepen that connection, something begins to change. We feel lighter, more peaceful, and more secure. Our perception of the world becomes more vivid, beauty seems more alive, and we naturally experience a greater sense of love and gratitude.

Each of us may discover this connection in different ways. For some it comes through meditation or prayer. For others it arises in nature, through music, acts of service, or moments of profound stillness. However it appears, the experience reminds us that we are never truly separate from the sacred energy that sustains all life.

As this connection deepens, our need to seek energy from others begins to fade. Instead of entering relationships hoping to receive what we're missing, we begin to share the love and energy we've already found within ourselves.

The Fifth Insight reminds us that our greatest source of strength isn't something we must earn or chase—it's something we can choose to reconnect with every day.

I came across this poem today, it lifted me and reminded me of how to describe the act of "HOLDING SPACE"

It brought me to want to share the essence of "Pause & Connect" the beautiful offering held at my property each fortnight (details on events)

Holding Space
What a privilege it is to be in the presence of beings
who turn up the volume of your heart
Who let you grow in your own space and time
To a rhythm that suits your soul
That speaks a language you know but your senses do not fully understand
To stand in a space and hold energy so everybody can be who they truly are
What ever shape and size reflects
the moment for them
You let it be
You hold them in a field of love and let them unfold
The beauty in this act brings you
home to a place of kindness
This magnificence, simplicity and power holds a truth inside the core of who you are
Its an honour to hold such Divine space unconditionally with love, compassion and the smile of gratitude
Thank you to this space
Thank you for trusting us to hold this space
This beautiful space
