The first scar.

Before stretch marks, c-sections, surgeries or the stories your body carries now, there was your umbilical scar. The very first place you were connected, held and nourished.

So much tension can live through the belly button and womb space when there are restrictions through the abdomen. Tightness, adhesions, pulling and holding patterns. The body has a beautiful way of protecting what it has been through.

This is why abdominal and womb work can feel like such a deep exhale. Sometimes emotional. Sometimes grounding. Sometimes like your body is finally softening after holding on for so long.

We are not just working with skin and tissue here, we are working with the centre of you.

I feel like this needed a permanent spot on the feed 🗞️

I am beyond proud of myself. Having this piece written really solidified that I am on the right track, that what I am building here matters, and that people are starting to notice.

This is so much more than an article. This is visibility. This is connection. This is letting women in our community know that I am here for them.

To meet them exactly where they are in pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, healing, fertility, or simply in the thick of life.

Sol was never built to be “just a massage studio.” It was built to be a safe place for women to exhale, soften, be supported, and truly cared for.
