This Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, we’re encouraging everyone to take simple steps that can make a big difference:

🥗 Eat more fibre-rich foods
🍎 Fill your plate with fruits and vegetables
🌾 Choose wholegrains
🫘 Include beans, lentils, and legumes
🥩 Limit red and processed meats
🚶 Stay active and maintain a healthy weight

Bowel cancer often develops without obvious symptoms in its early stages, which is why screening is so important.

Early detection saves lives.

IBDSA - world IBD day!
At IBDSA and SA Group of Specialists, we see the strength and resilience of people living with IBD every day. Through the right support, care, and understanding, we can help improve quality of life and make these conversations easier to have.

Awareness matters. Earlier diagnosis, better support systems, and open conversations can make a real difference for individuals and families navigating IBD.

This month, take a moment to learn more, check in on someone who may be struggling quietly, and help spread understanding around Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Together, we can continue building a more supportive and informed community. 💜
