Our recent Broadwater Court Open Day was held at the Treeview Estate Community Centre, hosted by Alicia and Dave. Twenty-six guests joined us for morning tea, thoughtfully prepared and served by our Resident Ambassadors and Village Manager, Kathy Hall.

Visitors enjoyed a walking tour through three stages of the village, with many commenting on the beautifully maintained gardens and the quality finishes of our villas. While the weather held off until the end of the event, the positive feedback and great conversations throughout the morning made the day a wonderful success. Thank you to everyone who attended and to our team and resident volunteers for helping make the day so enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming more visitors to experience all that BWC has to offer.

Our next Open Days will be at Alloura Waters on 13th August, and Deepwater Court on 3rd September.

What a fantastic afternoon celebrating the official opening of the newly renovated Kincumba Mountain Estate Community Centre.

Residents gathered ahead of the village’s regular Tuesday happy hour to enjoy an afternoon of drinks, a sausage sizzle and community festivities. Village Manager Kathy Hall welcomed guests and acknowledged the Living Choice team behind the refurbishment, especially the construction team whose efforts transformed the centre.

The renovation project by Living Choice is a significant upgrade to the existing community centre. The old dark colour tones and well-used furniture have been replaced with new furniture in shades of oak, soft furnishings of cream and pale blues, alongside facility improvements.

On behalf of the Residents Committee, Executive Chairman Peter Brandon shared how much he enjoys spending time at the Community Centre, highlighting the strong sense of community and recognising the efforts of staff who help make the centre such a valued gathering place.

A special thank you goes to Rosemary and Derek Jones for their hard work in helping to organise the event and for their ongoing dedication to running the Community Centre each week.

June Byres quietly undertook the reconfiguration of the Community Library post-renovation. It is now a welcome, organised and inviting space for us all to enjoy.

Assistant Village Manager Rebecca Roese, Maintenance Co-Ordinator Jane Clark and Toni from Reception were also on hand to celebrate the occasion, while Sales Consultant Dave Grassby kept everyone well fed on the barbecue.

It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout, with residents embracing the refreshed space and enjoying an afternoon of friendship, conversation and celebration.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the official opening such a memorable event.

Our next Garden Club Outing – Wednesday 8th July 2026
As the cooler months are quiet for nurseries we thought it might be nice to try something a little different. We will be going to Copacabana Captain Cook Lookout to search for Humpback whales. There are 2 visiting platforms, north near the carpark and south via a brief staircase. Bring your binoculars if you have them.

Please see the Communique for booking details.

Our next long day out will be a tour of NSW Parliament House on June 18th.

Parliament House is not only a place of legislative business but also a symbol of the state's heritage and cultural significance.
As Australia's first and oldest parliament, it represents the state's history and the evolution of its political system.
It will be a great day out.

To get more information and book your seat, please see the details in the Village Communique.
