What a day - out on Sydney Harbour aboard the MV Bennelong for the Naval Historical Society's fascinating cruise exploring the waterways west of the Harbour Bridge.

Australia's rich naval heritage through expert commentary, historical photographs and informative displays. Highlights of the cruise included views of HMAS Waterhen, Cockatoo Island, Spectacle Island and Snapper Island, each brought to life with stories from the Society's passionate volunteers. The Naval Historical Society, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to preserving and honouring Australia's naval history, also provided everyone with a commemorative booklet to take home as a souvenir.

With beautiful harbour views, great company and plenty of interesting history to discover, it was a memorable outing. Thanks to Chris for organising.

A wonderful day spent exploring the beautiful Gosford Regional Gallery & Gardens.

Our visit included the Community Gallery, showcasing the work of talented local artists Cheryl Willcox, Suzi Zglinicki and Gillian Perett, along with a preview of the upcoming Art Student Survey Exhibition.
There was plenty to discover throughout the gallery spaces, including 'Flower Bird Flower' by Chanelle Collier in the Verandah Gallery, the Moving Image Gallery featured works by Chiang Gayung-ba, and 'Weaving Through Time' by JamFactory icon Aunty Ellen Trevorrow. We also enjoyed 'Confluence' by David Collins and Ana Pollak, alongside works by Mandy Francis in the Main Gallery.

Surrounded by inspiring artwork and the gallery's tranquil gardens, it was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some local culture and creativity while spending time together. A truly enjoyable Garden Club outing.

Good friends make great neighbours. We recently celebrated some wonderful connections through the Living Choice Referral Rewards Program.

With the sun shining and Broadwater Court looking its very best, we were delighted to welcome 30 visitors (& 2 grandbabies) to experience our community yesterday.

Thank you to Kathy and her team, our dedicated gardeners, and our Resident Ambassadors for helping make the day such a success. It was fantastic to see prospective residents exploring the village, meeting our residents, and gaining a genuine feel for community life.

We always encourage those considering retirement living to visit a range of villages, meet the residents, and experience the community for themselves. There's no better way to find the place that truly feels like home.

What a wonderful Open Day at Alloura Waters today. We hosted a small group of guests, some visiting our village for the first time.
Over morning tea featuring freshly baked scones with jam and cream, cookies and fresh fruit, guests enjoyed learning more about life at Alloura Waters and asking plenty of thoughtful questions.
With the sun shining and smiles all around, it was a fantastic morning. One of the highlights was seeing two ladies strike up a friendship during the visit, a lovely reminder of the connections that make community living so special. It was truly one of our best Open Day groups so far, and we thank everyone who joined us. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Thanks to our Hosts at The Castle Hill Retirement Expo. We enjoyed meeting new people and seeing some familiar faces. If you would like to catch up with our team or book a tour, please get in touch. Locals Dave and Alicia welcome the chance to meet up in person.
