The goal after a hysterectomy isn’t avoiding higher intensity, heavier load or impact training forever—it’s gradually rebuilding the capacity to tolerate it.
Strong foundations first and then plenty of middle ground work to build your symptom tolerance and capacity. Then gradually introduce impact and heavier loads to provide continual bone, muscle and tendon loading, to best support your return to running, sport, crossfit, “heavier lifting” and ultimately peri/menopause.
