On ANZAC Day, we take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember.

Today we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served, and we also acknowledge the stories, memories, and connections many of our residents carry with them. For some, it is memories of their own service; for others, it is remembering family members, friends, and a generation that lived through extraordinary times.

🍦 I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream! 🍦

Nothing brightens a day quite like the cheerful jingle of an ice cream van! Our residents were treated to delicious afternoons of scoops, smiles, and sunshine as the van rolled into our centres.

From classics to colourful sprinkles and choc-dipped treats, everyone found a favourite flavour — and plenty of reasons to laugh and reminisce about childhood summers.

These little moments of joy make a big difference, and we’re grateful to our wonderful team (and our fabulous ice cream lady!) for bringing delight to our community. 💛

Looking back over the past few months, our home has been buzzing with joy, creativity, and connection. From craft mornings and themed celebrations to gentle exercise sessions, music, and visits from friends big and small — every moment has been an opportunity to share laughter and create meaningful memories.

We’re so proud of the wonderful spirit our residents bring to each activity, and we’re grateful to our employees and volunteers who make these experiences possible.

👻 Halloween Fun at Dr Mary Surveyor Centre!

Our residents had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween together — complete with costumes, treats, and plenty of smiles! 🧙‍♀️🦇
