What a beautiful campaign ☔️

Charlotte here is doing some incredible work.

Through the Mental Health Council of Tasmania, she's worked with other young people to develop a new youth mental health campaign called Whatever the Weather.

The campaign highlights that just like the weather, our mental health can change all the time.

Inspiring work for a great cause! 💙

Take a look at the recently released Tasmanian Disability Inclusion Plan.

The Tasmanian Disability Inclusion Plan 2026-2030 is now available.

Published today on 14 August, the Plan outlines actions to support a more inclusive Tasmania and was informed by the voices and experiences of people with disability, their families, friends and supporters.

The Plan includes key priorities and actions to support inclusion across Tasmanian Government services.

Over the next six months, all Tasmanian Government agencies and defined entities will create their own Disability Inclusion Action Plans. As these plans are created there will be more opportunities to engage with us about what matters to you.

📄 The Plan is available on the Department of Health website: www.health.tas.gov.au/health-topics/people-disability/tasmanian-disability-inclusion-plan

A detailed and summary version are available. Versions have been developed in accessible formats including: accessible text, Easy Read, Audio, Auslan Video and Braille Ready.

We know there is potentially a high prevalence of Parkinson’s in our Defence community. We encourage you to complete this survey from Carers Tasmania if this aligns with your story ♥️

Are you caring for someone who has served in the Australian Defence Force?

We would like to hear about what kind of events or activities would make a difference for you.

Suggestions might highlight the need for a local support group, social activities, specialised workshops, or an opportunity to connect with other carers who understand what you're going through.

Send us your suggestions by completing a short survey: www.surveymonkey.com/r/Q2LSMLB

Or email us at [email protected].
