Many of you who know me, will know I'm a firm believer that 'laughter is the best medicine. There will be times when you may not feel like laughing and that is so very ok, but other times when seeking out a good laugh will brighten your outlook/moment/day. Who is that friend who always has a funny story? Maybe give them a call . Watch some standup comedy? Tell someone a joke? And remember, if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours

Happiness is lovely but can be fleeting.
That beautiful sense of fulfilment is deeper and more sustaining. It provides a sense of connection, purpose and meaning. Research shows fulfilment can mean different things to different people. It's about being authentic, living true to your core beliefs and trying to have a positive impact. See the link below for further reading in some recent research.

It's that time of year again when life can be busier, feel more overwhelming, and we're all a bit tired. Ask yourself, do I really need to be rushing right now? Am I shallow breathing or clenching my jaw? Am I keeping the bigger picture in mind, or stressing about things, that don't really matter when all is said and done.
Give the people you love and care about a big hug and try not to buy into the stress whenever you can xx ā˜ŗļø

Anyone cleaning up before putting up the Christmas tree? Do you have some books (for ages 0-100yo +) lying around that you enjoyed and would like to share? Donations to our Street Library are most welcome. You might even find a book there youā€™d like to take and read for yourself over the holidays that are fast approaching.

Feel free to leave them in the library, in the clinic or on the front deck- whatever works for you ā˜ŗļø
