What would you hope your medical team and family would take into consideration when they have to decide upon your treatment options?
This Tuesday 12 May (10.30-12) we are going to delving into what you really want when things get sticky.
This is a precursor to you making your own Advance Care Directive.
(Already started one? brilliant. Bring it and get it done.)
Esther Guinea, one of the Holistic Death Doulas Central and Northern Victoria will be on board to help answer all the questions, as well as me - Amanda.
All catered by the marvellous Heathcote Community House - so PLEASE get in touch with them and book a seat! (03) 5433 2820

Supporting someone through their journey after they have lost a loved one can be hard, not knowing what to say or do. I have attached 3 pictures with this post of Memory bears that I have made to give you an idea how they may look.. They are made from clothing of a loved one in the hope that it may make the grief journey just a little easier.

Much Love

Eight years ago today Victoria became the first state to pass a Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) law, paving the way for legislation to be introduced around the country.

Now the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2017 is entering a new phase after a five-year review led to broad amendments making Victoria's VAD service fairer and more accessible.

Minister for Health Mary-Anne Thomas described the passing of the amendment bill as an important day: "Victoria's voluntary assisted dying laws are now clearer and more compassionate."
