One of my friends in the US, Missy, wrote this blog. I love its clarity, truthfulness and helpfulness as I sense the fluctuations in my own experiences of unchosen change. As we move towards Christmas when amongst the fun (or not), so many other feelings of loss, hurt, fear, anger, vulnerability can arise. Missy's words challenge the notion of pushing away the sad, hard emotions amidst the encouragement to be happy (my words not hers).
