The most underrated Ayurvedic ritual?
Ghee + warm water.

Simple, almost forgettable...but deeply
regulating for the body.

In Ayurveda, a small amount of ghee with warm
water helps:
- support digestion + gut lining
- gently lubricate dryness (skin, gut, joints)
- calm excess heat and inflammation
- improve nutrient absorption over time

How to take it:
- 1 tsp good quality ghee Himalayan Bliss ghee
- in a cup of warm (not hot) water
- best taken in the morning on an empty
stomach
- sip slowly, not like a drink to rush

Who it’s good for:
- dry, sensitive, inflamed skin
- acidity, gut irritation, or irregular digestion
- when your body feels depleted or overheated

Who should avoid / be cautious:
- very sluggish digestion (heaviness, nausea
after eating)
- high kapha imbalance (excess mucus,
congestion, lethargy)
- if you’re already consuming a very heavy/fat-
rich diet

This isn’t a quick fix, it’s a quiet, daily support.

Save this for when your body feels off and
follow for more simple Ayurvedic rituals that
actually make sense 🌿

At Himalayan Bliss, “best” isn’t a buzzword. It’s a promise we keep striving to preserve

We always thought that we could do better with our spices. Over the years we have sourced spices from different outlets and always felt that the quality was either too substandard or too much profit driven with no emphasis on the potency and sustainability aspect. We were determined to change it and finally we got a shot. We have been able to source single-origin spices right here in Australia. Each batch of cardamom, fennel, and cinnamon that we tested comes from one farm, one soil, one harvest and hence the whole point of being worth the price and effort.

Why? Because terroir matters. The altitude, climate, and farmers’ hands shape the aroma, oil content, and potency. Blends hide inconsistencies. Single origin gives you purity you can taste and trust.

No fillers. No generic bulk spice. Just herbs rooted in the land they were meant to grow in.

That’s our commitment to you. Pure. Traceable. Worth it.

That burning in your chest after chai isn’t just a strong chai that’s loaded with heating spices and caffeine but it might be Pitta talking 🔥 You
love chai but get irritable, acidic, or break out after?

Hear us out

In Ayurveda, Pitta is fire + water. It governs digestion, metabolism, and focus. But too much heat from food, stress, or spicy chai can push Pitta out of balance.

Here are 3 signs your chai might be aggravating Pitta:

Acid reflux, heartburn, or a burning stomach after chai
Clove, black pepper, and too much ginger are heating. If your blend is heavy on these, it can overstimulate Pitta digestion.

Irritability, headaches, or feeling “too wired” after 1 cup
Pitta in excess shows up as frustration and intensity. A chai loaded with hot spices + caffeine can tip you over.

Skin breakouts, rashes, or redness around the face
Pitta governs the skin. When aggravated, it often shows up as heat-related skin issues.

What to do instead:
If you’re Pitta-dominant or feeling overheated, look for chai with more cooling herbs:
Fennel, cardamom, liquorice – cooling and soothing
Brew weaker, drink warm not hot – heat + heat = overload

At Himalayan Bliss, our Calming Chai blends uses fennel and cardamom as the base, so it’s warming but not aggravating. Good for evenings and Pitta types.

Save this if you’re a Pitta type, or tag someone who always says “chai makes me feel weird”

Try our artisanal blends and feel the difference !

Turmeric is one of the most revered spices in Ayurveda. She is called Haridra, the golden healer, for a reason. And she deserves so much more than a latte and a wellness hashtag.
