We’re so excited to welcome our newest doctor Dr Myat to the medical centre! She was originally planning to start in September… but clearly, she couldn’t wait that long! So, she’s joining us this Friday!

Welcoming Dr Tom,

Dr Tom is a GP registrar originally from the UK. He graduated from Imperial College London in 2020 and emigrated to Australia in 2022 with his family. He has worked in NSW, SA, NT and QLD and has loved exploring everything Australia has to offer. He has spent many years in emergency medicine and enjoys minor procedures and all areas of adult and paediatric medicine. When he is not at work you can find him surfing, on the golf course or hiking in the glasshouse mountains with his wife and daughter.

Welcoming Dr Andie,

Dr Andie is a caring and experienced second year GP registrar. After graduating from The University of Hong Kong, and completed part of her pharmacy undergraduate at The University of Queensland, she spent several years working as an accredited psychiatry registrar on the Sunshine Coast before starting GP training, giving her a strong foundation in Mental Health.

Dr Andie also spent her formative medical training working across different hospital specialities at the Prince Charles Hospital, Lyell McEwin Hospital in Brisbane and Adelaide respectively.

Dr Andie enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in preventative medicine, dermatological conditions, women’s health and geriatric medicine. Dr Andie is known for her approachable and warm manner, and is passionate about providing care that is thoughtful - recognising that every patient has their unique needs and experiences.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, time on the yoga mat, visiting museums and connecting with nature.
