Happy Father’s Day to all the special men and father figures at Langwarrin Community Aged Care. We hope you and your families have a wonderful day filled with love, laughter and special moments.
Today, our wonderful residents were treated to a delicious Father’s Day special menu, lovingly prepared by our Catering Industries team.
To make the day even more special, all our men received a little Father’s Day gift from LCAC.

Today we're celebrating the dad, stepdads, grandads and father figures who have shared their wisdom, guidance, stories and, of course, their legendary jokes over the years. 🎉

To honour Father's Day, some of our residents have kindly shared their favourite dad jokes. Fair warning: they're delightfully cheesy and guaranteed to make your groan! 😄

We hope this video brings a smile to your face as we recognise and thank all the incredible father figures in our community and among our dedicated staff.

Today, our downstairs residents enjoyed a very special Father’s Day High Tea!

The Catering Industries team worked hard to create a beautiful and delicious menu, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. There were plenty of smiles, good company and, of course, lots of yummy treats! 😋

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Father’s Day High Tea such a wonderful success. 💙

Wear It Purple Day is a special day dedicated to showing support, acceptance and inclusion for LGBTQIA+ young people. It reminds us that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued and accepted for who they are, regardless of their gender identity or sexuality. By wearing purple, we help create awareness and send a powerful message that diversity should be celebrated and that no one should feel alone or excluded.

This week Langwarrin Community Aged Care embraced our annual Book Week celebration, giving staff the chance to dress up as any much-loved book character!
Our costumes sparked lots of fun and interesting conversations throughout the home, with residents sharing memories of their favourite books.
At Happy Hour, we were treated to a wonderful performance by the Frankston Ladies Choir, followed by our Book Week costume parade, where staff and residents had the chance to showcase their fantastic outfits.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon filled with laughter, music, connection and plenty of smiles!
A huge thank you to everyone who dressed up and helped make Book Week such a fun and memorable event!

Here at Langwarrin Community Aged Care , we’re incredibly proud to have raised a wonderful $300 for Daffodil Day 2026!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us through our raffle and Guess the Jellybean Amount fundraiser. Every donation helps make a difference.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day appeal, raising vital funds for cancer research and sharing hope with people affected by cancer.
Thank you to our wonderful residents, families, staff and community for helping us support such an important cause.

Today at Langwarrin Community Aged Care, we had a very special surprise visitor — Pinkie the blue-tongue lizard! 🦎💙
Pinkie was definitely a hit with many of our residents who had the chance to meet her. There were plenty of smiles, curious faces and wonderful conversations as everyone enjoyed this unique animal encounter.
A big thank you to Pinkie and her owner for brightening our day!
