How is everyone going this week?
The energies have been a bit heavy lately do you think? Or maybe that has just been for me π
I've had a really busy month and I have to remind myself how important it is to rest and take a breather.
So I wish to remind you to do the same if things have you a bit stressed or down right now.
To embrace this and help ease stress I do find that changing my routine and doing something different is a good idea.
Last weekend I embraced that and took a trip to Allan's Garden centre on a mission to buy myself a beautiful rose. Something to bring some joy into my day in both purchasing it and watching it bloom.
I came away with the rose below - who else loves the Bronte sisters?? I've been an avid reader of them as a teen! And Emily, maybe slightly controversial, but Emily was my favourite. So there was no way I could leave this one.
It was a hard choice though as I would've loved to take 3 home I really wanted. But in the end the Emily Bronte rose won out and I can't wait to watch it bloom. I do think they will be smaller flowers but they look very beautiful too.
Getting out to the nursery really did help ease my blue mood last weekend and I am trying to curb my temptation to go back and get the other two roses π€£πΉ
So if you are feeling a bit of pressure, stress or depression this week, try and find some time to change up your routine. I highly recommend getting outside amongst nature and plants as they are healers!
A little scientific but in case you haven't heard, all electronics give off positive ions. Our energy field is charged with negative ions. They are opposing forces. Nature is mainly negative ions. That is why we feel so good around it. Some call it grounding, but what you are really doing is exchanging and neutralising those positve ions for negative. Allowing your field to become more balanced and replacing that positve charge for negative (our natural state).
So get out there and embrace it π
P. S I've always wanted a David Austin rose and now I do π
