This week, we proudly welcomed Archbishop Anthony Ireland and the Calvary Ministries Trustees to celebrate two significant milestones across Calvary hospitals in Tasmania.
Joined by Calvary CEO Damien Bruce, Chief Operating Officer Hospitals Sharon Kendall, Regional COO Hospitals VIC/TAS Melissa Evans and local hospital leaders, the events reflected Calvary’s ongoing commitment to investing in high-quality healthcare services for Tasmanian communities.
At Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital in Hobart, we marked the blessing of our newly renovated maternity facilities, an important expansion supporting local families and strengthening maternity services for the community.
At Calvary St Vincent’s Hospital in Launceston, we celebrated the blessing of our new modular theatres and associated renovations, enhancing surgical capacity and improving access to care for Northern Tasmania.
These occasions honour not only new facilities, but the enduring legacy of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary and Calvary’s mission of Being for others.
We thank all staff, clinicians, project teams and partners whose dedication and collaboration made these projects possible.
