Our Winter wellbeing doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s created in the small choices we make before the colder days fully settle in.
Over the past six weeks, we’ve talked about preparing for winter gently — not with pressure or perfection, but with simple practices that support your body, mind and nervous system through the season ahead.
🍁 Moving your body consistently - find your vibe (it could be Pilates or Yoga, Barre or Reformer or simply going for a walk with a friend)
❄️ Supporting your muscles and stress levels with massage and other forms of recovery
🍂 Nourishing yourself with warming, nutrient rich and delicious foods. Ensuring adequate hydration and prioritising rest
🫂 Protecting your mental health through connection with your family, friends and community and stepping into those slower rhythms
🫖 Creating calming rituals you can return to when life feels full
The people who tend to feel best through winter usually aren’t doing extreme things — they’re doing small things CONSISTENTLY.
And the beautiful thing is… there’s still time to begin.
You don’t need to overhaul your life before winter.
You just need to start asking:
What helps me feel grounded?
What helps me feel well?
What can I commit to consistently — even on busy weeks when I'm tired and it's dark and cold?
Maybe it’s:
One movement class a week
A regular massage
More nourishing meals
Earlier nights
Less pressure
More connection
Winter doesn’t have to be something to just “get through.”
With a little preparation and care it can become a season of slowing down, reconnecting, strengthening and supporting yourself more deeply.
Start now.
Your winter self will thank you for it. ❄️
