🎉New Pelvic Pain Systematic Review! 🎉
WOW, what a year! This is a very belated post, but better late than never!

For the last 2 years I have been working on this review with a team of 5 amazing physiotherapists and researchers. This systematic review is live in BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and is free access!

Our team found that multi-disciplinary (treatment from more than one health practitioner) rather than single discipline care for persistent pelvic pain had lower post-treatment pain scores and also experienced better improvement in sexual function. This is the first time quatative data have been synthesised to investigate this question.

It is important to note: while we found better improvements in multidisciplinary treatment, this does not mean that good, holistic single discipline treatments are less effective. More research is needed in this area!
