As an art therapist, sometimes we hold the space for clients to work tiny. It can feel safe. It may provide intense focus. It can feel like the right sized container to hold a big emotion, sensation or moment. It often invites curiosity. Sometimes working tiny may activate a dissonance. There’s no right or wrong response in a therapeutic space, it’s all part of the therapeutic process. How would you respond to the invitation to work tiny?
