Sometimes healing isn't about making sure we never unravel again. 🤍
This morning, while the rain fell outside and the rest of my house was still asleep, I had the privilege of beginning my Saturday with a distant healing session.
And during the session, I kept being shown the image of a rope.
At first, it was a rope that had been stretched and pulled so tightly for so long that it was beginning to fray.
Its strength and integrity were compromised.
It felt like it was getting closer and closer to breaking point.
As the session progressed and we worked on grounding, settling and bringing the energy back into balance, that image began to change.
Instead of the frayed rope, I saw something much stronger.
A wire rope.
Still made up of many individual strands, but those strands were bound together.
Strong.
Grounded.
Supported.
Able to withstand so much more.
But then I was shown one more image...
A wire rope that had begun to fray.
And I think this was perhaps my favourite part of the message.
Because healing doesn't mean we reach some magical point where life never stretches us again.
We can become overwhelmed again.
We can become dysregulated.
We can have moments where everything feels like too much and some of those strands begin to fray.
But when we've strengthened the foundation underneath us, we have something solid to come back to.
We can ground.
Regulate.
Reconnect with ourselves.
And begin bringing those strands back together again.
The goal isn't perfection. It's resilience.
This morning's session was such a beautiful reminder of why I still love doing this work.
And increasingly, I'm finding that distant sessions fit beautifully into the season of life I'm moving into.
There's no need to be in the same room.
I work quietly from my own space while you — or your child — can remain in the comfort and familiarity of yours.
Afterwards I send through what came up during the session, what I worked with and any messages or insights that I feel may be helpful moving forward.
Simple.
Personal.
And able to fit around real life. 🤍
As I move into a new season myself, this is predominantly how I'll be offering my healing sessions — quietly, distantly and by arrangement.
So there won't necessarily always be appointment times sitting somewhere waiting to be booked.
If you feel like you or your child could use some support, simply send me a message.
We'll have a chat and find a time that works for both of us. 🤍
