Building the cardio back up one lighthouse walk at a time šŸ˜…

A little reminder that our Sunrise to Sunset Day Retreat is on Sunday 9 August, and we now have just 8 places remaining.

If you’ve been feeling the nudge, or you’ve been sitting on the fence waiting for a sign, this might just be it.

A full day to step away from the noise and into practice… yoga, meditation, tea, nourishing meals, sauna, ice bath, satsang, live sound, deep rest, connection and space to reconnect with yourself.

Over half the places are now gone, and we would love to share this day with you.

If your heart is saying yes, don’t wait any longer šŸ¤

There are seasons in life when it feels as though everything is asking us to grow.

Whether you follow astrology or simply notice the rhythm of your own life, this current season feels like one of those times. Leo invites us to live from the heart with greater courage, while Jupiter is often associated with expansion, asking us to step beyond what feels familiar. The Full Moon shines a light on what is ready to be seen, while Pluto is said to bring us into deeper honesty and transformation.

Expansion is a beautiful thing, but it isn’t always comfortable.

Like the river in Kahil Gibran’s poem, there comes a moment when we realise we can’t go back to who we were. We can only trust the current and continue moving towards something much greater than ourselves.

This is why we practice.

Not because yoga, meditation, tea or sound remove us from life, but because they give us the steadiness to meet life exactly as it is. They remind us how to stay present when everything feels uncertain, how to soften when our instinct is to resist, and how to trust the unfolding, even when we can’t yet see where it is leading.

On Sunday 9 August, Troy and I will gather with a small group at Bluegreen from sunrise to sunset to immerse ourselves in these practices.

We’ll move, breathe, share tea, experience immersive sound journeys, gather around the fire, cook lunch together, enjoy beautiful meals prepared by Simon from Conscious Kitchen, and spend an entire day remembering what it feels like to slow down and truly connect, with ourselves, with each other and with the deeper current of life.

If you’ve been feeling the invitation to pause, recalibrate and create space for whatever is emerging within you, we’d love to welcome you.

Sri is a Sanskrit word that points to a quality of inner luminosity, the natural beauty, radiance, grace and fullness that arises when we are deeply aligned with our true nature.

That’s why joy feels so magnetic, it isn’t something we manufacture or chase, it naturally overflows when we soften into who we already are.

Some people naturally draw out the Sri within us. In their presence, we become a little more luminous, alive, more ourselves. Laughter comes easily, the heart softens, and for a moment we remember the beauty and fullness that has always been there. May we all remember the Sri that already lives within us šŸ¤

There are moments in the year that feel like a collective threshold, and this is one of them.

With the Sun in Leo, Jupiter amplifying what’s ready to grow, the Lion’s Gate portal opening and the Full Moon approaching, many of us are feeling the invitation to expand, to choose courage over comfort, and to soften into the next version of ourselves.

I’ve been hearing it in almost every conversation this week. Things are shifting.

In seasons like this, it’s easy to become swept up in the intensity. It’s also the perfect time to anchor.

This Saturday, 1 August at 1pm, Troy and I will be sharing our Tea & Sound Journey at Haum Space, a chance to step out of the noise and into presence.

As the tea gently opens the heart, live sound weaves through the entire ceremony, creating a space to land, listen and remember what is true beneath all the movement.

If you’re feeling the call of this powerful season, we’d love to sit with you.

One of the most unexpected gifts of bringing the practice of tea into my life has been what it has brought into my relationships, particularly my marriage.

Tea has become so much more than a beautiful ritual. It has become a daily meeting ground where we meet each other without needing to fix, solve, entertain or achieve anything.

Just two people sitting together, present, listening, softening, there is profound healing in sharing practices like tea, meditation, yoga or ceremony together, allowing the nervous system to settle, the heart to open, and a deeper connection to emerge.

When we step out of the constant doing of life and into simply being together, something changes. The nervous system settles, the heart opens, and the conversations that matter most often arise naturally. The walls begin to dissolve, and what remains is a meeting, not personality to personality, more like heart to heart… soul to soul.

I’ve witnessed this not only in my own relationship, but in friendships, between parents and children, siblings, and complete strangers who arrive in the same circle and leave feeling deeply connected.

This is why I’m so passionate about teaching a home tea practice.

Because tea isn’t something that only belongs in a beautiful ceremony with a facilitator. It can become a living practice that slowly transforms the way you meet yourself and the people you love, one cup at a time.

On Sunday 6 September, I’ll be sharing Tea Ceremony, a home practice, an intimate three-hour workshop where you’ll learn how to create your own meaningful tea practice at home. Whether your tea space becomes your kitchen table, your garden, your favourite beach or beneath a tree, my hope is that it becomes an anchor you can return to again and again… for yourself, and for those you love.

Often the deepest intimacy isn’t found in saying more but in sitting together in the silence and presence, sharing a bowl of tea.

Bookings are now open, spaces are limited. DM to find out more, I’d love to share this beautiful practice with you. šŸ¤ Heidi xo

Firstly… apparently I got a little too excited and announced the wrong date in the video. šŸ˜‚

I said 9.9… but it’s actually Sunday 6.9 at 2pm. Let’s call it my enthusiasm getting ahead of itself!

For so many years people have asked me, ā€œHow do I begin a tea practice at home?ā€

I’m so excited to finally be sharing this. šŸ¤

On Sunday 6th September at 2pm, I’ll be offering an intimate 3-hour Home Practice of Tea Workshop at Bluegreen Sanctuary.

This isn’t about learning to perform a tea ceremony. It’s about cultivating a simple, sustainable practice that you can weave into your everyday life, whether that’s in your home, your garden, at the beach, beside a waterfall, or wherever you feel most connected.

Alongside yoga and meditation, tea has been one of the most transformative practices of my life. It has taught me to slow down, simplify, listen more deeply, and meet life with greater presence. Over time, that way of being begins to ripple into every relationship, every decision, and every ordinary moment.

During our afternoon together you’ll learn the foundations of a personal tea practice, explore the principles that bring it to life, and leave with the confidence to continue your own home sadhana.

This will be a small, intimate group so everyone receives plenty of individual guidance.

I truly can’t wait to share this beautiful practice with you.

DM me for details or to reserve your place. šŸƒ

There are some experiences that can never quite be put into words because they are felt far more deeply than they can ever be explained.

When two streams come together with presence and intention, something entirely new begins to emerge. The medicine of tea gently invites us into stillness while live sound carries us into places beyond the thinking mind, and somewhere in that meeting an indescribable third field is created. A space that feels deeply nourishing, profoundly grounding and powerfully transformative.

This is an invitation to slow down, soften, breathe, listen and remember what it feels like to simply be.

We would love to share this beautiful afternoon with you.

Where it all began…

Last year, Troy and I found ourselves on a Wanderlust photo shoot at the beautiful Bunker Byron.

We chatted, laughed, did some yoga, we had no agenda or grand plan, no idea that anything significant was beginning.

Looking back now, seeds were being planted 🌱.

Fast forward nine months, and those tiny seeds have grown into something neither of us could have imagined.

Our very first Tea & Sound Journeys at Bluegreen sold out on Mother’s Day. Since then we’ve shared more beautiful gatherings, our Tea & Sound offering has found a home at Haum Space, we’ve created our first Sunrise to Sunset Day Retreat at Bluegreen, and this November we’ll be sharing our work as part of the Byron Bay Wellness Festival.

None of it was forced or rushed or sought out.

It unfolded through genuine connection, shared values, a love of this work, and simply continuing to say yes to what felt true.

It’s such a beautiful reminder that not everything needs to be strategically mapped out. Sometimes life asks us to simply show up wholeheartedly, trust the timing, and allow what wants to emerge to reveal itself.

Beyond grateful for this unfolding, for every person who has sat with us, and for what is still to come. šŸ¤

If you’ve been feeling the call to experience this work, we’d love to welcome you.

Saturday 1 August – Tea & Sound Journey at Haum Space, Byron Bay.

Sunday 9 August – Our Sunrise to Sunset Day Retreat at Bluegreen Sanctuary, a full day of tea, yoga, meditation, sound, nourishing meals, sauna, ice bath, satsang, fireside rituals, deep rest and genuine connection.

Come and be part of what’s continuing to unfold.

DM either of us for details or to book. šŸŒ€
