Be Chiropractic's Health Philosophy

We believe that the health potential of an individual starts from conception. The most effective way of providing a child with the best start to life is by increasing the health of the parents prior to conception and throughout the pregnancy. Chiropractic care optimises your health by improving the integrity of your

nervous system. The nervous system is the master co-ordinator of your body which allow your body to function. A distortion to your body's structure can cause interference to your nervous system which can result in a lack of function in your body. Many health problems may be stemmed from the spine due to the interference to your nervous system. In other words, interference to your nervous system means your body parts can't function properly which then results in health issues such as migraines & headaches, neck pain, back pain, posture, asthma, digestive problems, fatigue, menstrual pain, problem sleeping, babies with colic, children with learning difficulties and developmental delay. Chiropractic care aims to restore the integrity of the nervous system to improve body function. At Be Chiropractic, we aim to maximise the health potential of every individual from conception, through the arc of life, and onto the next generation. Clinic Hours

Repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, pushing, pulling and long hours on your feet can place ongoing strain on the spine, increasing the risk of back pain. Over time, this doesn’t just affect your body - it can also impact mental wellbeing, contributing to stress, fatigue and reduced quality of life.

For many men, back pain doesn’t just slow them down - it adds to the mental load of managing work, finances and family, and can take a toll on mental health.

Early intervention is key. Addressing back pain early can help prevent chronic conditions and reduce its broader impact on your health and wellbeing.

⭐️Join us this month of June as we celebrate Spinal Health Month!⭐️
Back pain is one of the most significant health challenges facing Australian workplaces, affecting productivity, participation and mental wellbeing.

New data from the 2026 Australian Spinal Health Survey shows 92.9% of employed Australians have experienced back pain. For men, the impact is not just physical. Among men with back pain, 41.9% report a moderate, significant or extreme mental health impact.

Work-related triggers are prominent across all types of back pain. Desk work, computer use, prolonged sitting, poor posture and manual handling, including lifting, pushing and pulling, are among the most commonly reported contributors.

The economic case for prevention is clear. Musculoskeletal disorders, led by back pain, cost the Australian economy an estimated $55.1 billion each year, including health costs, lost productivity and reduced quality of life.

Early intervention and prevention, including ergonomic awareness, movement breaks, safe lifting habits and timely access to professional care, can help reduce both the personal and workplace impact of back pain.

This Spinal Health Month, the Australian Chiropractors Association is encouraging workplaces and workers to take back pain seriously.

If back pain is affecting how you work, move or feel, it’s time to adjust your thinking.

Consult an ACA chiro and access free resources at www.spinalhealth.org.au.

🧠✨ Can chiropractic support stroke recovery?

A randomised controlled trial found that 4 weeks of chiropractic spinal adjustments led to improvements in motor function in people recovering from stroke.

Participants who received chiropractic care showed measurable changes in how their brain and body communicated, suggesting spinal adjustments may support neuroplasticity and motor recovery.

✨ Adjusting the spine isn’t just about pain relief
🧠 It may influence how the nervous system functions
💪 And potentially support motor performance post-stroke

The spine protects the nervous system and when we improve communication, we improve function.
