Multitask's vision of "Inclusive communities where people living with a disability can have reach and meaningful lives" has underpinned the provision of a unique, wide ranging group of services, aiming to increase the independence of people with disabilities and supporting them to make informed choices about the way they wish to live their lives. Employing over 300 staff and led by a dedicated Boa
rd and Management Team, Multitask has become recognised as a leader in the provision of support services to people with disabilities in the Northern Rivers Region. Multitask services aim to develop the potential of each individual to have a happy, secure and meaningful life that is both appropriate to each person's needs and goals. Its headquarters in Molesworth Street houses general administration as well as Day Services and Children's Services. Business services operate from South Lismore. Our disability services cover the Lismore, Nimbin, Ballina, Grafton, Tamworth, and Kempsey areas. Over recent years we have expanded the number and style of services on offer. It is our belief that each person is an individual and that the model of service delivery should match the persons own requirements and abilities. We continually look for innovative, effective ways in which we can support people with disabilities to lead active lives.
