Our practice is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. There will be a recorded message on how to access a doctor after hours if the clinic is closed. The clinic provides a 24 hour on call service. For after hours information please phone 66212371
If the matter is extremely urgent or life threatening please phone 000 for an ambulance and assessment and transport to the Lismore Base Hospital.

If you’re seeing this post, you may live in an area of high Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) concern.

A free JEV vaccine is available to people who live or work in local government areas of high JEV concern, or work with pigs or mosquitoes.

High-Risk Zones: Residents in Lismore, Richmond Valley, and Kyogle are urged to take precautions as these areas have been identified as having higher risk.

JEV can be serious and, in some cases, fatal.

Getting vaccinated is a simple way to protect yourself against JEV.

Keen Street Clinic have been made aware that there are emails/SMS circulating impersonating HOTdoc our online booking service saying that a reimbursement is available and to click on the link. PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK it is a phishing email/sms.
Many of our patients use Hotdoc for bookings so we are notifying our patients to be wary and to read all messages carefully to ensure they are legitimate.

To all those who have left kind messages on my retirement.
Thank you very much for all the lovely thoughts and expressions of support.
I can only say it has been a pleasure and a privilege to have been involved in the care of so many people across so many years. Especially rewarding are those families I have known for generations. I have enjoyed every bit of it.
As I sail off into the sunset to pursue lots of other interests I am happy and secure in the knowledge that the clinic is in good hands ongoing, and I know you will continue to receive the best of medical care.

A gentle reminder about our newly implemented appointment policy.
Keen St Clinic will be implementing a $40.00 non-attendance fee.

We understand that things happen, and sometimes appointments need to be changed or cancelled. We truly value our patient's business and the time we set aside for you.
No-shows, however, impact not only us but also other clients who might be waiting for an appointment. When appointments are missed, it affects our ability to serve everyone efficiently.

To help us manage our schedule effectively and ensure everyone has access to the care they need, we kindly request that you provide at least 4 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. For cancellations with less than 4 hours' notice, or for no-shows, your GP may apply a non-attendance fee of $40.00 for the missed appointment. If issued this would need to be paid prior to any further appointments being made.
We believe in open communication and are always happy to discuss any concerns you may have. Please feel free to reach out if you need to adjust your appointment. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated,
