Sometimes we mistake intensity for love.
The fireworks.
The chemistry.
The incredible highs.
The uncertainty.
The adrenaline.
The feeling of, “Oh my God, I’ve finally met someone.”
And then the waiting.
Why haven’t they texted?
Where do I stand?
Are they pulling away?
Your nervous system is constantly moving between euphoria and anxiety.
And what I’ve realised is that these patterns don’t always stay in our relationships.
They can show up everywhere.
Feast and famine in business.
Huge bursts of motivation followed by exhaustion.
Feeling incredibly confident one day and anxious the next.
Because everything is connected.
As I’ve learned to come home to myself, regulate my nervous system and create more steadiness within my own life, I’ve realised that what feels attractive begins to change too.
Peace starts to feel attractive.
Consistency becomes attractive.
A person who is real, loving, open, emotionally available and secure becomes attractive.
Someone you can actually exhale around.
There may not be the same chaotic fireworks because your nervous system isn’t being thrown into uncertainty.
Instead, it feels natural.
Safe.
Whole.
Peaceful.
Nourishing.
And I’m learning that this kind of love can actually be incredibly powerful.
Not because someone keeps you guessing, but because they meet you.
They become a safe space in your life while still allowing you to be fully yourself.
And I believe the same shift can happen in business.
You stop needing the enormous highs and fearing the lows.
You become steadier.
You trust yourself more.
You enjoy your life more.
And from that grounded place, you become magnetic in a completely different way.
This has been such a huge theme in my own life.
Learning that peace doesn’t mean there’s no passion.
Stability doesn’t mean there’s no chemistry.
And love doesn’t have to dysregulate you to be powerful.
Sometimes the deepest love feels like finally being able to exhale.
Can you relate to this?
