Today, Burmese Care held a fun and exciting Team Cooking Competition as part of our regular Group Activity. It was wonderful to see everyone participating with sharing smiles and enjoying the experience together. ❤️

The activity was not only about cooking delicious food but also about teamwork, cooperation, communication, and supporting one another. Everyone had a great time working together.

A big thank you to all our dedicated Support Worker for your time, effort, and assistance in making this activity a success. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to all participants for joining in, contributing their ideas, and making the event so much fun.

It was truly a memorable day filled with laughter, excitement, teamwork, and learning. We look forward to creating more wonderful moments together.

Today, Burmese Care had the pleasure of leading our NDIS and Aged Care clients on a wonderful picnic at You Yangs Regional Park. 😊
Everyone enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, participated in fun group activities, socialised with one another, and shared a delicious meal together.
It was a wonderful day filled with connection, laughter, community participation, and memorable moments. ❤️

Led by Burmese Care, and made possible through the wonderful participation and support of our community, we were able to celebrate Karenni Eh Doh Paw Mi (Deeku) together.

From sharing traditional stories and singing Karenni songs to enjoying traditional food, every moment reflects a part of who we are and where we come from.

This is more than a celebration — it is our culture, our memories, and our heritage that we continue to share with the next generation. ❤️

Today, Burmese Care proudly hosted a small celebration of the Karenni traditional Eh Doh Paw Mi (Deeku) festival.
The event included sharing the history and origins of Eh Doh Paw Mi (Deeku), singing traditional Karenni songs, and enjoying a selection of traditional Karenni foods together.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate our cultural heritage, and preserve and share our traditions with future generations.

Healthy Habits Start with Simple Choices 💧

Burmese Care recently held a community education session about the benefits of drinking tap water and staying hydrated.

We were grateful to have the support of Metro South Health, who provided water bottles for our community members to encourage healthy hydration habits. 💙

It was a great opportunity to come together, learn and promote simple choices that can support better health and wellbeing.

Behind every person receiving support is a family who has been there through the difficult days, the small victories, and everything in between.

In this video, a mother shares her journey of caring for her daughter with autism and Down’s syndrome - the challenges she has faced, the strength it has taken, and what it means to finally have people walking alongside her family.

At Burmese Care, we are grateful to be a small part of their journey. For us, support is not only about providing a service - it is about listening, understanding and being there when families need us.

Sometimes, the right support doesn’t just make a difference for one person. It can make a difference for the whole family.
