It is time to announce closing the doors of Complete Body Therapeutics in longreach and the central west.
For the last 15 years I have worked
Massaging, doing Reikiing, Cupping, Dry Needling and don't forget Yoga lessons on locals, tourists, travellers and animals. I moved into longreach in 2011 working at the Bottom of Wren Street, near the ring road with my partner at the time . This saw me also start travelling and working south at Jundah and Windorah. I also crossed paths with The late Trevor Kendall at this stage and was shown Lester Cox Technique. Kay and myself then bought a huge QLder in Ibis Street where I looked after poeple and Wildlife, mainly Kangaroo Joey's. I did my Yoga qualification in 2013 after 10yrs of my own practice and kept training in Cupping and Dry Needling.
With my little dog Suki we greeted people to massage from locals, and then a chance appointment with the owner of Lara Station that altered my life direction.
A few years later after travelling to China and Tibet i left Longreach and spent 3 yrs at Lara Wetlands massaging locals but mainly tourists. Travel weary tourists took advantage of the Therapy, the wonderful artesian hot pool and natural surrounds.
Around 2018 I returned to longreach and opened a clinic at the Secret Garden Cafe, a wonderful yet extremely busy period all the while travelling to Melbourne twice a year to learn and train in LCT.
After the Secret Garden sold, I shifted to 51 Crane St in 2021 where I have offered therapies on people and also joined the local Rotary Club.
Now, i am cleaning and packing up to head on my next journey. Therapies, a career in Offgrid Power, and Travel in the big bus.
Since being in the Central West i Have met and worked on more people than I can remember , I have a books worth of stories in my mind of people and the circumstances they've needed my help and I've loved every minute of it.
But, " everything changes, nothing stays the same" , and i go where the universe and gods direct me and according to what excites me.
I thank everyone who has got to know me, been on my table. This time has allowed me to hone my skills and also share my knowledge of health and well being, something that I love doing on a daily basis.
I'll say good bye over the next week to as many people i know with a hug, handshake or smile.
Bob
