đź’«Supporting the Whole Woman.

Healthcare systems can often feel rushed and fragmented, I offer something different—a space where women are truly known, deeply supported, and nurtured through every stage of their journey.

Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood are profound life transitions that deserve personalised, relationship-based care that honours the body, mind, and spirit.

✨Care Rooted in Relationship
As your midwife, I walk alongside you throughout your journey, building a trusting relationship and providing care that aligns with your unique needs, values, and goals.

✨A Truly Holistic Approach
What makes my care different is that I don’t see pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting as separate chapters. Each experience influences the next, and the body, mind, and emotions are deeply connected.

This is why I offer services that work together to support the whole woman:
- Birth Rewire & Release for whole body healing and processing birth experiences.
- Acuneedling to restore balance, ease discomforts, and support wellbeing.
- Possums-informed support for responsive, evidence-based guidance around infant sleep, feeding, and development.
- Caesarean Scar Release to support physical recovery, comfort, and reconnection after birth.

Together with continuity of care, these offerings support healing beyond the skin—honouring the connection between body, mind, emotions, and experience to nurture wellbeing at every stage of motherhood.

Honouring the whole journey in this way creates space for women to feel supported, understood, and connected to themselves as they move through pregnancy, birth, recovery, and motherhood.

Because motherhood is more than pregnancy.
Birth is more than a clinical event.
And healing is about more than physical recovery.

✨Gentle care. Deep connection. Whole-person support.✨

✨ There’s More to C-Section Scar Care Than Removing the Dressing on Day 7 ✨

One of the biggest gaps in maternity care is what happens after a C-section.

Many women are told to remove their dressing around day 7 and then receive little to no guidance about caring for their scar or supporting their recovery.

The reality is that your C-section scar needs ongoing care long after the dressing comes off.

✨Proper scar care can help:
- Improve healing and comfort
- Reduce tightness and sensitivity
- Support core and breath function
- Minimise scar adhesions
- Improve the appearance of the scar

Once your incision is fully healed, there are a number of evidence-based approaches that can support optimal healing, including scar massage, desensitisation techniques, movement, and the use of TGA-approved silicone scar products.

Many people are surprised to learn that not all silicone scar products sold in Australia are actually TGA-approved. There are only a handful that meet these standards, making it important to choose products with proven safety and effectiveness.

A C-section is major abdominal surgery that involves 7 layers, yet many women are discharged without education on scar management, tissue healing, or how their scar may affect movement and function in the months and years ahead. This is a huge gap in maternity care that deserves more attention.

Your scar is more than skin deep—it’s part of your birth story and it deserves ongoing care.

✨Have you been shown how to care for your C-section scar beyond removing the dressing?

Happy Mother’s Day 🤍

Today I’m feeling especially grateful for these two little humans who made me a mum and shaped me into the woman I am today.

They’ve taught me patience, resilience, unconditional love, and so much about myself along the way. They challenge me, strengthen me, and test me beyond limits I never knew I had.

Motherhood in today’s world can feel incredibly heavy at times. The constant mental load, the pressure to do it all, the comparison, the exhaustion, the worry, the balancing act of caring for everyone while trying not to lose yourself in the process — it’s a lot. So many mothers are pouring from empty cups while still showing up every single day with love, strength, and devotion for their families. And in the middle of caring for everyone else, I think it’s so important we don’t forget ourselves as women too. Our needs, our identity, our wellbeing, our rest, our dreams — they matter just as much 🤍

To my beautiful mum friends — you are incredible. Watching the love, strength, sacrifice, and care you pour into your children every day is so inspiring. Having women around you who truly understand the highs and lows of motherhood is something I’m endlessly grateful for.

I also know today can feel heavy for many. For those grieving their mums, longing to become mothers, carrying the heartbreak of losing a baby, or holding silent grief behind the smiles — my heart is with you today too 🤍

Motherhood and the longing for motherhood both carry so much love, strength, and emotion.

Sending love to every kind of mum and every woman today 🤍

Today is for the relationship between midwife and woman 🤍

For the strength you carry, the trust you give, and the stories you allow us to be part of — from pregnancy through to birth and into those tender, transformative postpartum days.

Midwifery is so much more than birth. It’s in the quiet moments after, too — supporting you as you heal, adjust, and grow into motherhood. It’s in the listening, the reassurance, and the care when it matters most.

On International Day of the Midwife, I feel especially grateful for every woman who has invited me into her journey. You have shaped me, taught me, and made me the midwife I am today.

And to the incredible midwives I’ve had the privilege to work alongside — thank you for your wisdom, support, and the way you continue to inspire and guide me.

Thank you for trusting me in such powerful moments of your lives đź’ś

✨Birth Rewire & Release✨

You can do all the “right” birth preparation… and still feel unsafe in your body.

Because birth isn’t only something you prepare for with information — it’s something your nervous system experiences.

If your body is still holding fear, tension, or unresolved memory from a previous birth, it can quietly shape how you move into your next one.

This is where Birth Rewire & Release comes in. Built from the teachings of reconnected birthing through Core & Floor Restore.

This work supports you to:– gently release stored birth trauma– rebuild safety in the nervous system– reconnect to your body’s natural capacity to birth– move into your next birth with more trust, clarity, and grounded presence

And for midwives and birth workers, it also supports you to:– process what you’ve witnessed– reduce emotional carryover– stay grounded and present with each birth experience

Because when the body feels safe… everything changes.

✨Important Update for 2026✨
I am now fully booked for pregnancy and postpartum care through the remainder of 2026.

Closing my books is always a difficult decision to make. I truly wish I could walk alongside every family who reaches out, especially knowing how much a continuity of care journey changes women’s journeys. My philosophy is built on providing deeply personal, heart-centered support, and to stay true to that, I choose to work with only a very limited number of women each month. Honoring these capacity limits is the only way I can stay deeply present and provide the level of care that every individual journey deserves.

To the families I’ll be supporting this year: I am so deeply honored to guide you through the transition into parenthood and provide the dedicated care you deserve.

🌿Space for New Healing Offerings!
One of the reasons for my limited capacity at the end of this year is to make intentional space for Birth Rewire & Release work and my specialised Body Work sessions.

🌿Reach out, just in case!
I know how much it means to have the care you’ve envisioned. While I am currently at capacity, I always encourage you to send me an email with your details. Life is fluid and schedules can occasionally shift—I’d love to have your information on hand so I can reach out if a spot becomes available!

🌿Please don’t give up on your search for a private midwife!
I encourage you to contact other Private Midwives in the Cairns region. We are so lucky to have an incredible group of private midwives in Cairns who offer Homebirth and continuity of care for pregnancy and postpartum.

🌿Working Harder, Better, Not Faster and Stronger!
It’s never too early to start the conversation. My calendar for 2027 is open for inquiries.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your village 🙌

💫Introducing “Birth Rewire & Release”💫

There is a difference between “getting through” a birth and actually processing it.

For many of us, the story of our birth remains a tangled knot—fragmented, overwhelming, or tucked away because it feels too heavy to touch. If we haven’t had the chance to truly process the story, our bodies often stay in a state of “bracing.”

This is because birth trauma isn’t just a memory; it’s a physical state. When an event is overwhelming, the nervous system can get stuck in a survival loop. Your mind tries to make sense of the past, while your body scans for “danger” in the present. This is where the fear of a next birth often lives—it’s not a lack of confidence, but a physiological response.

I am honored to introduce Birth Rewire & Release: An embodied approach to unwinding birth trauma. As I complete the Reconnected Birthing Mentorship through Core and Floor Restore, I am opening a limited number of sessions to integrate these powerful, original methodologies into my practice.

These 90-minute sessions integrate your birth story and unwind the physical imprints left behind. We work to help your nervous system understand that while this birth is a permanent part of your journey, the immediate threat has passed. This allows you to carry the experience forward from a place of grounded integration.

As I continue to complete this mentorship and consolidate these skills I am offering these sessions at a special introductory rate of $110 (Normally $180).

The Details:
• A 90-minute 1:1 experience in person
• Availability: Late April through early May

Whether you are postpartum, pregnant and ready to reclaim your peace, or a birth professional needing to clear the residual charge of a high-intensity birth you attended—this space is for you.

How to book:
Limited to 5 spaces. To enquire or book your Birth Rewire & Release session, please email me at [email protected]
