PRACTICE MANAGER POSITION
We believe a great Practice Manager helps create the heart of the practice. At Canelands Medical Centre,
we’re looking for an approachable, capable and people-focused leader to join our growing team in Mackay and help guide a busy, well-established medical centre with a strong community reputation.
This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing leadership, organisation, team support and business operations — while still creating a warm and positive environment for both staff and patients.
About the role
You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, reception staff and leadership to help ensure the practice runs smoothly day-to-day while continuing to grow and improve.
We are looking for someone who:
* Leads with professionalism, kindness and common sense
* Builds strong relationships with staff and patients
* Is organised, reliable and solutions-focused
* Can confidently manage workflows, rostering and operations
* Understands the business side of general practice
* Encourages a positive and supportive team culture
* Is adaptable and open to learning
Experience in healthcare or general practice management is highly regarded, however the right personality, attitude and leadership style are equally important to us.
