It's been a long time since I've said hello here or held a Girls Circle for that matter. Life this year has taken a slight course change for me, which I've been enjoying immensely. At the same time my work with girls is still incredibly important to me, especially as my daughter grows.
And I won't pretend that the teen years for us have been easy and I have it all sorted, because I so don't. 14 is not easy! I miss my girl as she becomes more independent and her friends become increasingly more important in her life than me.
So I put my big girl pants on and reminded myself that she's doing exactly what nature intended, especially for a strong, confident first-born daughter! And that is what has inspired me to create a beautiful Mums and Daughters retreat afternoon because I'm 100% positive I'm not the only mum in the Nambucca Valley feeling my precious girl pull away.
I've called it 'A Whimsical Afternoon of Connection' because that is the vibe I would love to welcome you into. The event is for girls aged 10 - 16 (approx) and their mums or female caregivers. My intention is for the afternoon to be light, joyful and fun, where we can get creative together and take home something beautiful, have a laugh, enjoy delicious cake and hot chocolate or maybe some hot soup around the fire and sprinkle a little magic and whimsy back into our lives. ✨️
Our girls need this just as much as we do (they just don't know it yet).
