🌧️🎣 Caleb and his support worker Guy braved the cold and wet conditions today, and it definitely paid off! They didn’t come away empty-handed, landing two fish along the way. 🐟🐟 Safe to say dinner is sorted! 😝

🎶 UnderConstruction Mental Health Choir 🎶

I’ve been a proud member of this amazing choir since 2013. Thanks to the incredible support and friendship I receive from Maitland Community Support, I’m now able to attend choir with my support worker, Joel.

Joel is a fantastic support, and he even joins in! It’s been wonderful watching him discover the joy of music and singing alongside us.

Choir has become so much more than just singing. It helps calm my anxiety because singing naturally encourages controlled breathing. It’s a form of mindfulness without even realising it.

Everyone is welcome to come along—whether you’d like to join in or simply watch. You’ll find all the contact details in the photos.

A huge thank you to MCS for your ongoing support. Thank you, Janelle, Joel, and the entire MCS team. You help make choir an even more enjoyable and positive part of my life. 🎵-Emma

A wonderful day out in the community! 🦘🐪🐾 Hunter Valley Wildlife Park

Today was all about exploring, learning, and making memories. We spent the day feeding friendly camels and kangaroos, meeting a variety of amazing animals, and enjoying everything nature has to offer.

Community access is about more than just getting out and about - it’s about building confidence, creating meaningful experiences, and having fun along the way. Seeing the smiles, excitement, and curiosity throughout the day made it extra special.

Liam and Braithan had an awesome time showing off their basketball tricks, balancing the ball on one finger like pros! From trying new things to building confidence and learning new skills together, these boys are always encouraging each other every step of the way.

It’s amazing to see them work as a team, challenge themselves, and celebrate every achievement together 👏✨
