DuiBana Support Coordination support the amazing Alicia to ensure that she has supports that help her and assist her to achieve her goals

Alicia created this amazing meal for her and her family to enjoy together. Alicia created prepped and cooked this with the assistance of her support worker.

Alicia is building life skills,, communication skills and independence which will assist her with individual growth and confidence

It looks amazing Alicia and you are doing so well. You should be very proud of yourself and the skills that you are building.

Well done !

Whisking Up Independence!

There’s nothing quite like a home-cooked meal - especially when you’ve helped create it yourself!

With the support of her Pathhaven Support Worker, Alicia took the lead in preparing dinner for the family. From helping in the kitchen to serving up a delicious meal, she was building valuable everyday skills while creating something everyone could enjoy together.

At Pathhaven, we believe the most meaningful supports happen in everyday moments. Whether it’s cooking a family meal, shopping for groceries, or learning a new skill (and maybe taste-testing along the way), we’re here to help our participants build confidence, independence, and achieve their goals.

Well done, Alicia! That dinner looks absolutely delicious! We think her family will be asking for seconds!

Well done, Lily and a huge thanks to Catherine for always providing an encouraging environment for Lily to flourish !

Baking Up Confidence!

There’s something special about the smell of fresh baking… especially when you’ve made it yourself!

With the support of her Pathhaven Support Worker, Lilly spent some time in the kitchen creating a delicious cake and a batch of homemade cookies, and don’t they look amazing!

Activities like baking are about so much more than the finished product. They’re a fantastic way to build independence, develop everyday life skills, follow recipes, practise problem-solving, and enjoy the sense of achievement that comes from creating something from scratch.

At Pathhaven, we believe the most meaningful supports happen in everyday moments. Whether it’s baking something delicious, following those recipes instructions, shopping for groceries, or learning a new skill (with a few laughs mixed into the recipe), we’re here to help our participants build confidence, independence, and achieve their goals.

Amazing work, Lilly! We have a feeling those cookies won’t last very long!
