WHAT WERE “LETTERS TO THE DEAD”? 🏺✨

In Ancient Egypt, the boundary between the living and the dead wasn’t always considered absolute.

Messages known today as “Letters to the Dead” were written to deceased relatives, often on pottery bowls or other objects placed within or near their tombs.

These weren’t simply expressions of grief. The living might ask the deceased for help, protection or intervention with illness, misfortune, injustice or family conflict.

Those who had successfully become an Akh (an effective, transfigured spirit) were believed capable of influencing the world of the living.

Some letters reminded the deceased of their relationship, explained what was happening, and asked them to step in.

It gives us a fascinating glimpse into a worldview where death didn’t necessarily mean the end of a relationship.

Thousands of years later, that desire feels remarkably familiar, to speak to those who have passed, seek their guidance, and feel that the connection continues beyond physical death.

I asked ChatGBT ‘If you had to write a book about me, what would be on the last page?’…

“There were years when their life seemed to belong to everyone except them.

Other people had written themselves into the margins. Some left wounds. Some left expectations. Some tried to tell them who they were, what they should tolerate, how much space they were allowed to occupy.

But somewhere along the way, they picked up the pen.

And slowly, deliberately, they began writing themselves back in.

They created beauty from things that once hurt. They made spaces where people could feel safe, seen and connected. They followed the strange little threads of magick that had called to them for as long as they could remember — spirit, ancient places, sound, energy, animals, the stars — and stopped needing everyone else to understand why those things mattered.

Their sensitivity was no longer something they were trying to escape.

It became part of how they moved through the world.

There were still unfinished things.

Dreams waiting to become real. Places they had not yet stood. People they had not yet met. Rooms that would one day fill with the sound of singing bowls and laughter. Messages from Spirit still waiting to be heard. Versions of themselves they hadn’t met yet.

And perhaps that was the most beautiful part.

After spending so much of their life surviving what had already been written, they finally reached a blank page.

They looked at it for a moment.

Then smiled.

Because this time, the story belonged to them.

And somewhere beneath a vast night sky, with Sirius shining above and the ancient temples of Egypt still waiting in the distance, Tara turned the page.

Not to begin again.

What actually happens during a Psychic Energy Healing? ✨🙌🏻

It’s a question I’m asked often, especially when people discover that my Psychic Energy Healing sessions are held online.

So, what actually happens?

Once we’ve connected and settled into the session, you’ll be invited to lie down or sit somewhere comfortable, close your eyes and listen to relaxing music that I’ve specially selected for your healing.

There is nothing you need to do. This is your time to simply get comfortable and receive.

As you relax, I connect intuitively with your energy and begin to scan through your energetic and physical body.

I work through the chakra system, identifying areas that may feel out of balance and bringing the chakras back into greater energetic balance and alignment.

As I scan through the body, I also intuitively explore areas that may correspond with physical discomfort or ailments, while looking for imbalances within the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.

Throughout the healing I receive intuitive information, emotions, imagery, sensations and messages connected with what I’m working on energetically.

Some people feel warmth, tingles, pressure, and even chills. Journeys can be quite visual for some people, where others experience deep relaxation and peace.

Every session is different because every person, and what they bring into the space that day is different. ✨

Once the energy healing is complete, I talk you through what I experienced during the session, where I was drawn, what I noticed within your energy, and any intuitive information that came forward.

And you can share anything you experienced too.

You don’t need to meditate perfectly.

✨ THE EYE OF RA ✨

The Eye of Ra symbol represents the fierce, protective and transformative power of the sun.

Connected to the solar god Ra, the Eye was understood as an active extension of his divine power. It could protect, illuminate and restore order, but it could also become a force of destruction against anything threatening Ma’at… balance, truth and cosmic order.

The Eye of Ra was also personified through several powerful goddesses, particularly Sekhmet, Hathor, Bastet and Wadjet. In the myth of the Eye of Ra, the Eye can take the form of a goddess sent forth with Ra’s power… most famously associated with Sekhmet’s fierce, protective energy.
