Though the paddock fell at the end of the rainbow today, the wet forecast ahead this week means our equine facilitated sessions may be soggy! We'll keep an eye on the forecast, and even if the rain holds off, if the mud gets too slippery, we'll be rerouting services to nice dry, warm, mostly mud-free office based sessions this week. As always we'll let you know with as much notice as possible and prioritise the well-being of our clients and our equine facilitators above all. ☔️🌈

Though our clinical services are not available on Fridays, that doesn't mean we're not working! On Fridays you'll often find Dr Koren catching up on administration or continuing education, but usually she's out in the therapy paddock taking care of our most valuable equine employees! We're so grateful to our wonderful equine veterinary team from Equus Veterinary Services and the top notch care they take of horses 🙏 we 🤍 our veterinarians!

We are so pleased to announce the completion of the indoor stables and grooming area for our equine psychological therapy facilitators!

We are deeply grateful to Pat Ryan and Fieldsview Equine Services for their exceptional workmanship on this project. Without them, this project simply would not have been within our reach. Our enduring gratitude 🙏 .

For our equine partners, this build provides a secure, welfare-focused space. While the horses spend most of their time living freely together, these stables offer safe indoor accommodation with access to individual outdoor yards, thoughtfully designed so these highly social beings can still touch, see, and groom one another, even when separated. This aspect of equine welfare is non-negotiable.

And for our smallest equine, Pat has even included a Bubba-sized stall—ensuring he can remain connected with his much taller herd mates while enjoying his own safe space when needed.

For our clients, this space allows us to continue equine sessions even when the weather is less than ideal, meaning far fewer disruptions and greater consistency in the therapeutic work.

We are thrilled to share this milestone with our clients!
