Did you know our Practice Manager also plays sport… 🫣

Ella is an active and sporty person, with a history of playing football at a local level with , but also at a regional level with Sandringham Dragons, VFLW level with Collingwood FC, and Sandringham Zebras FC, and was an AFLW train on for Collingwood FC.

During her regional years at the Dragons, Ella suffered from a lot on Shin Splint pain, as well as soreness in her feet. Later in her career, she has learn’t more about how to look after her feet, but admits there is still room for improvement!

DEAN THE AFL MACHINE 🏉

Dean Anderson, 2-time AFL Premiership player for Hawthorn, also played at St Kilda, Father of current Gold Coast Suns captain Noah Anderson, and most importantly, the Old Scotch Women’s Senior coach, knows just how important feet are not only in sports, but in everyday life.

Not only is Dean an ex-athlete, but he is a family man, frequently found watching his children’s sports, walking their family dog, and traveling. Dean is also a much loved coach at the Old Scotch Football Club, often found running around with his squad in drills, conditioning training, and more 🏃🏽‍♂️

Meet Eva the Lacrosse Diva! 🥍

Eva is a Victorian state player for Box Lacrosse, alongside playing lacrosse for her local club.

She is often running on hard turf surfaces, promoting jarring of her joints, which can cause a lot of lower limb pain and stiffness in her feet.

Luckily, Eva looks to take good care of her lower limbs! And if she needs any advice, Tooronga and Kooyong Podiatry are only a call away to help her 😉

We’re giving back to our sporting community, starting with proudly sponsoring the Ashburton Redbacks Under 9s Black’s team, coached by none other than our very own Simon Adam ❤️💚🖤
 
The Ashburton Redbacks are a YJFL club who house some of the leagues next upcoming talent! The Redbacks have proven over the years they are a mighty successful club, producing some of the biggest names we watch on our screens today, such as Jack Viney (Melbourne Demons), Jordan De Goey (Collingwood), Tom Mitchell (Hawthorn) and Toby Greene (GWS Giants) in the AFL, and of course Jasmine Flemming (Hawthorn), Emma McDonald and Sarah Poustie (Western Bulldogs), and Poppy Scholtz and Lila Keck (Carlton) in the AFLW.
 
At Tooronga & Kooyong Podiatry, we are proud to provide treatment and advice to a variety of different people, including Paediatrics; your child’s feet need care too!
