Hedbanz is an excellent game for children who are requiring medium structure in Lidcombe Program! It is also a way of bridging the gap between describing pictures and longer conversations for children doing the Oakville Program. If you haven’t played it before, one player wears a card on their head and has to guess what it is. It is available at a range of stores including Kmart and Big W.

A key part of Lidcombe Program therapy is engaging the child while structuring their language and has so many games for this. My favourite for high or medium structure is the Lunchbox Game and for low or no structure is the puzzle in the Farm Compendium.
