On Friday the 9th, I had the honour of attending the Alcoa Peel Business Awards and accepting Tennille’s finalist award for Business Woman of Excellence on her behalf. (Tennille was supporting our team in Geraldton 💚🌱)
I nominated Tennille because I knew she would never nominate herself. In all my years working in the disability sector, I have never met someone more person-centred, caring or compassionate. The way she goes above and beyond for the people around her is something truly special, and I’m constantly wondering how she makes it all look so effortless.
Tennille, you deserve to be celebrated for the heart, dedication and care you pour into everything you do. I’m so proud to see you recognised. ✨
Of course, I couldn’t attend without representing some of our very talented Sprouts, please peep my necklace! 😉
And please enjoy the photo I had to send Tennille as proof she’d made the finals… because she genuinely thought I’d used AI to make it up! 😂 Apparently, getting her to believe she deserves an award is harder than nominating her for one!
🌱 CONGRATULATIONS Tennille O'Neill 🌱
