I’ve been waiting for this to be available over here….
Riot Women is now available on SBS.
Focussing on menopausal women and their realities, including some really difficult and potentially triggering issues, t’s really gritty, brilliant, fun, sad, emotional, crazy, hopeless and hopeful all at the same time.
Incredibly well acted by a fabulous bunch of talented and very well known British actors - hard to watch at times (for me, at least) emotional, tear jerking and utterly brilliant.
Highly recommended but comes with trigger warnings, so please check how you’re doing before watching - brilliant but also disturbing.

'Riot Women' celebrates the ageless nature of punk rock, and the liberation that comes with age and experience enough to know people-pleasing is a thorough waste of time.

I'm really not good at FB! I intend to create posts, add links, make the world a slightly better place etc, etc... but time after time I 'fail'. I understand that this can be a wonderful platform, but I much prefer face to face and groups. I do better with my website, and I have some useful info and links on there, but none of this will ever be in my comfort zone..... Just saying.

Perimenopause, Menopause & the Rest of Your Life (RoYL) affect every woman in some way, and can sometimes have devastating effects.
If you identify with any of these and are not currently receiving the relevant support, please reach out to your GP, a counsellor who understands the associated mental health and well-being issues in depth, or even a trusted friend for support.
Don’t suffer in silence.

I love helping people to heal, grow and change and have been propelled more recently into the world of perimenopause and menopause as an additional speciality through both personal and professional experience.
My biggest downside, by far, is social media and being ‘present’, ‘current’, ‘visible’ etc etc etc.
Like many who are counsellors, I want to help people, but technology and self marketing is not my friend or my natural space.
