Okay... shall we actually DO this?
I've spent the last couple of weeks talking, musing, asking questions and disappearing down the occasional rabbit hole.
But at some point you've got to stop talking about the experiment...
and actually run the bloody thing.
So this Friday, we start.
Our first Health Experiment is BACK TO BASICS.
And appropriately enough, as I write this I'm travelling around Australia in a 4WD and caravan — which is a pretty good reminder that health doesn't happen in a perfectly controlled environment.
It happens in real life.
When you're travelling.
When the routine goes out the window.
When dinner isn't what you'd planned.
When you didn't sleep particularly well.
When you have time to exercise — and when you don't.
When life is busy, messy, fun, stressful, unexpected... or all of those things at once.
Because that's where all those things we call our “healthy habits” actually have to work.
So for our first month, we're not starting with some fancy new protocol or the latest miracle health hack.
We're looking at something much less sexy.
The things we do every bloody day.
Eating.
Not eating.
Sleeping.
Moving.
Resting.
Drinking.
Supplementing.
And all those little routines and habits we've accumulated along the way — some of which we probably don't even think about anymore.
We're beginning with the Virgo New Moon on 11 September, which feels rather appropriate for exploring health, habits, routines and discernment.
And we're starting with one question:
Which of my daily habits are genuinely supporting my health — and which am I doing simply because I've been told they're healthy?
Here's the important bit:
We're not all going to do the same thing.
One person might experiment with their eating window.
Someone else might stop snacking between meals.
Someone might change what they eat for breakfast.
Someone might walk after dinner.
Someone might finally question the seventeen supplements they've been dutifully swallowing every morning.
And someone else might realise the thing they actually need to experiment with is doing less.
We're going to:
NOTICE → CHOOSE → EXPERIMENT → REFLECT
And along the way I'll bring in some of my favourite rabbit holes — physiology, fasting and metabolic health, Human Design, astrology, frequency work and whatever else turns out to be useful.
Not because everyone needs every lens.
But because sometimes looking at the same question from a different angle helps us notice something we couldn't see before.
We'll have two live gatherings during the month, group frequency support Monday–Friday, discussion, Q&A and undoubtedly a few unexpected detours.
And for those who want another layer, there's also an option for weekly personalised frequency scans and playlists.
Do I know exactly what everyone is going to discover?
Nope.
I'm not supposed to.
It's an experiment.
The Founding Round of The Health Experiment starts this Friday, 11 September.
And if you've been watching me build this thing and thinking...
“Actually, this sounds like my kind of weird.”
