๐ธ Womenโs Health Week 2026 ๐ธ
This Womenโs Health Week, weโre encouraging women to take a little time for themselves โ including making time for their health.
This yearโs theme reminds us that rest is an important part of good health. Poor sleep, fatigue and feeling run down can sometimes be linked with stress, pain, hormonal changes, perimenopause or other health concerns, and theyโre worth talking about.
Itโs also a good opportunity to check that your routine health screening is up to date.
If itโs been a while since youโve had a check-up, consider booking an appointment with your GP to discuss:
๐ Cervical screening
๐ Breast and bowel screening
๐ Blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes risk
๐ Period, contraception or fertility concerns
๐ Perimenopause and menopause
๐ Mental health, sleep and fatigue
๐ Any other womenโs health concern youโve been putting off
The checks you need will depend on your age, family history and individual risk factors, and your GP can help you work out whatโs appropriate for you.
This Womenโs Health Week, make some time for your health.
