I’m proud and excited to be the new ‘CARM Equine Therapist and Ambassador’ and to be part of this incredible Child and Retired-racehorse Movement.

These two amazing charities KIDS Foundation and Rehab4rehab have come together to support the physical and mental health and safety of Australian children and retired racehorses.

Yesterday I got to share the day with the most inspirational young people that have experience unimaginable Trauma, injuries, and burns, and witness the power of connection between them and retired racehorses King Louis and Crackajack.

This year my family and I started the year on a plane ✈️ heading home from Perth and we will finish it with a camper trailer in tow heading around Australia.

Some of the magic I shared this year (trying to keep it Inner Rhythm related as my partner isn’t a fan of social media however I do need to share some personal stuff as that is just me 🙃🙂.

Steven and I got engaged 💍 and it was an incredible proposal at Camel’s Hump (where we went for our first Tinder date 🥰) .

We welcomed Francesca Violet Cody into our family and I also became an Aunty to my first nephew Jimmy Liston.

Bessie had a litter of pups and during lockdown together we mothered our twelve kids. Her Mum Jerri who lives on the farm with my parents had a litter seven who are just three days old 🐾

I Graduated from a Regional Leadership program and challenged their policies so I could continue attending as a breastfeeding mother. It felt great to graduate with Francesca in my arms 👶

My personal story was featured in Oak Magazine. My mum and my project of mustering 20 wild Waler’s was featured in Australian Geographic magazine. With an innovative Thoroughbred Welfare report my Off-The Track-Thoroughbred Jorge and I made front page of The Age.

An independent psychologist study reported that 33 youth who attended our Thoroughbred HEROes Pilot program significantly improved their mental health seeing all four areas measured - Hope, Efficacy, Resilience and Optimism each improve A LOT- Soo Proud!!!!

We hosted 25 refugees and their families through the incredible charity Africause. We held beautiful women’s retreats that light up my soul. I took Digby into schools to teach children about mindfulness and enjoyed running youth programs and school camps at the farm.

With a full heart ❤️ I will be taking a break from what some might call work and I will also take a break from social media. Thank you for all of your support! I wish you all a fabulous Christmas and a ripper 2022! Inner Rhythm will be back with more Magic to share after filling up our souls with nature and time together adventuring as a family.

During a visit to Birchip P-12 college earlier this year; Digby met many students that initially felt uncertain and even afraid to be near him. With time and guidance this shifted to curiosity and eventually even joy as genuine connections were made. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

If we look into this a little bit, we can be reminded that our energy is a contagious, and its important to pay attention to how you are being influenced by others energy and how you are contributing to the collective group culture. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Each student was supported to meet Digby, and there were many smiles when their hands touched his warm + fuzzy nose!
